Close the equipment booking separately
A camera, activity kit or other item hired during a Jeddah visit can leave one final appointment on departure day: returning it. Treat that handover as a separate obligation under your own hire arrangement. A transfer booking does not change the return location, the person authorised to receive the equipment or the conditions you accepted.
Ask the hire provider where the return happens and what confirms completion. Keep that answer with the hire paperwork. If the address differs from where you collected the item, update your departure plan before choosing the airport pickup point.
Choose the order of your last stops
One option is to complete the handover first and request airport pickup from the confirmed return location. Another is to return the equipment earlier, then leave from your accommodation. Compare those arrangements using the actual addresses and your own commitments, rather than assuming the return can fit into an otherwise direct airport journey.
If you want a vehicle to make an additional stop, describe it explicitly when discussing the journey. Do not assume that entering the airport as the destination includes a detour, waiting during an inspection or another passenger collection.
Account for what travels after the handover
List the luggage and equipment that will remain with your party after the return. A protective case that goes back to the hire provider differs from one you still need to take to the airport. Give clear dimensions for unusual items and request confirmation of carriage; a general vehicle picture does not establish suitability.
Keep valuable personal belongings separate from items being handed back. Check your own inventory before leaving the return point so that a misplaced passport or personal camera does not become part of the onward travel problem.
Make the pickup address unambiguous
Once the handover arrangement is settled, share the exact pickup address and any confirmed entrance detail. If the provider changes the return instructions, revise the transport request too. This keeps the final airport journey attached to the place you will actually be leaving.
